Is written by a Fort Worth mom who always feels like she’s not in ‘the group,’ and worries that it’s because of something she did or didn’t do. Relentlessly ambitious for her children, large chunks of her time go to supporting and transporting them, though like everyone else she tries to keep the extracuriculars under control. She likes to see her women friends, likes to cook and wishes she had more and better shoes — so she’s typical in a lot of ways.  Sometimes it worries her that it’s easier to remember childrens’ names than adults’. But overall, if you asked her she’d hem and haw and finally tell you it’s good to be alive, it’s good to be a mom — it’s all good — even when it isn’t all good, it’s all good — and hope you understand.
